Holding It Together

‘I am trying to find my edges, I don’t know where they are anymore…
Am I grieving now? Am I grieving, now? Am I grieving? Now?’

Holding It Together is a multidisciplinary performance exploring friendship and grief, by Jassy Earl and Chloë Smith.

Holding It Together is both a performance and a conversation.  We watch and we share in an intimate space carefully designed to support audience members as they reflect upon the feeling and evolving experience of grief.  Using movement, text and lots of bubble wrap Jassy Earl and Chloë Smith explore their independent but shared experiences of grief and the friendship connecting them.

The work is currently in further research and development with support from Lyth Arts Centre after performances at the Scottish Mental Health Festival in May 2019.
